BULLA BYPASS – HAVE YOUR SAY ONLINE
We are continuing to progress planning and development work for the potential future Bulla Bypass.
Member for Sunbury Josh Bull announced today that Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) on behalf of the Victorian Government will undertake stakeholder and community engagement to inform design options and provide valuable information to inform the development of a Business Case.
The Bulla Bypass would provide a new connection between Sunbury and the northern suburbs, including Melbourne Airport. This includes exploring options to build a new road link between Bulla-Diggers Rest Road and Somerton Road in Bulla.
MRPV are seeking solutions to improve traffic flow and ease congestion, improve safety by removing heavy vehicles travelling through Bulla and improve amenity and liveability for Bulla and Sunbury residents.
Timelines and milestones will be determined through this planning work and a Business Case is anticipated to be finalised in mid-2022.
To get involved, visit engage.vic.gov.au/bulla-bypass between Wednesday 17 November and Sunday 5 December 2021, call 1800 105 105 or email contact@roadprojects.vic.gov.au.
Here residents and local businesses can provide feedback by completing multiple surveys and by dropping a pin and comment on an interactive map.
Feedback will build on previous engagement conducted by the Department of Transport to understand community views on design options.
MRPV will continue to provide updates and information as planning for the Bypass progresses.
