It is time to upgrade the bus interchange at Sunbury Station.

Member for Sunbury Josh Bull announced today a campaign to secure funding to upgrade the bus interchange.

The bus interchange hasn’t seen any major upgrade in years. It is outdated and in poor condition.

As the Labor Government gets on and delivers the massive multi deck car park (with construction to start this year), the level crossing removal, as well as station platform upgrades and the installation of high capacity signals – the bus interchange should not be left behind.

Upgrades to the shelter, roads, landscaping and signage are needed.

Funding would deliver a modern and clean bus interchange and provide a better public transport network for commuters, residents and visitors alike.

The community continues to advocate strongly for its upgrade.
