Sunbury Music Festival Returns
Sunbury Music Festivals returns for 2026 with a star stunned line up at The Nook on Saturday 18 April, gates open at 1pm, tickets now on sale.
Continuing the legacy created with the run of the Sunbury Pop Festival from 1972 to 1975 — which featured the likes of AC/DC, Billy Thorpe, Queen and Skyhooks — Sunbury Music Festival is a day of festival entertainment the north can call its own.
Sunbury Music Festival comes on the back of Sunbury ‘24, which saw the resurrection of the iconic music festival 50 years after it took Australian audiences by storm and cemented itself in rock music history.
This year’s festival will see in a new era for the event that celebrates Sunbury’s rich music history and brings together music lovers of all styles and ages.
Headlined by Australia’s Queen of Soul Marcia Hines, much-loved pop-rock outfit Rogue Traders featuring Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and triple j favourites Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers, Sunbury Music Festival truly is a live music event for every generation.
With a full eight hours of live entertainment on the bill, the Sunbury Music Festival is a feast of music genres with Aussie R&B legends The Badloves, Indie Country Singer Songwriter Ruby Mae, and Jazz/Rock fusion eight-piece JAZZPARTY all on board to make this a festival for all.
Hume City Council thanks the Sunbury community for their support in keeping the spirit of the Sunbury Pop Festival alive and embracing this new generation of affordable, all-ages entertainment.
