The Andrews Labor Government has announced a Men’s shed upgrade for Sunbury, thanks to a $30,000 grant.

Josh Bull MP, Member for Sunbury said the new shed will boost space for community programs and support the physical and mental wellbeing of locals.

The upgraded Men’s Shed Sunbury will accommodate the increasing demands on space and facilities, desperately needed by the rapidly growing membership of the Sunbury Shed.

Men’s Sheds are safe and practical places for men to meet, make social connections and actively participate in their local communities.

They also promote social inclusion and enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of men in local communities and are especially important in Sunbury.

The grant was part of a $1.2 million funding boost to build or refurbish 32 new or existing Men’s Sheds around Victoria.
